Neil MacAllister
With almost 20 years of experience in the life sciences, and over half of that time in executive management positions, Neil brings unique and broad perspectives to the leadership of AVOS Life Sciences. Prior to joining AVOS, Neil was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Quintiles Transnational where he was responsible for strategy development and strategic planning. In addition, he had responsibility for management of Corporate Business Development, Corporate Marketing, and Sales Support functions. During his time at Quintiles, Neil was also the CEO of one it its two primary business divisions - Innovex.
In years prior to Quintiles, Neil was a Managing Director for the Wilkerson Group, a leading pharmaceutical consultancy firm. Upon TWG's acquisition by IBM, Neil became the pharmaceutical practice leader for IBM's consultancy arm. He has also been a Principal of Booz Allen & Hamilton where he was responsible for strategic consultancy projects in the pharmaceutical practice, a Director at Wood MacKenzie where he was responsible for the development of industry research products and consultancy, and held sales and marketing positions at Beecham.

Keith Ruark
Keith has 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Before joining AVOS, Keith held senior management positions within Quintiles Transnational including Executive Director positions in its investment arm, PharmaBio Development, and in its contract sales arm, Innovex. Within PharmaBio, Keith had a lead transactional role for both pharmaceutical product and company based investments. His tasks included deal structuring, negotiating and contracting. Keith's role within Innovex comprised evolving the CSO business model at a strategic level to meet customer needs in terms of service design.
Prior to joining Quintiles, Keith was a senior consultant for The Wilkerson Group, a leading pharmaceutical consultancy firm acquired by IBM. Within Wilkerson, Keith worked as a consultant to advise senior management with respect to critical product and business strategy issues and provide strategic, operational and technology solutions to challenges in health care. Keith has also held commercial positions at Roche and Procter and Gamble.

Kathleen Griffin
Kathleen has 17 years of commercial and management experience, the last nine being in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining AVOS, Kathleen was Executive Director, Strategic Planning and Special Projects at Quintiles Transnational, the world's largest contract research and sales organization. Kathleen reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for establishing and managing the global strategic planning process for the Quintiles holding company and its operating units (including pre-clinical, pharmaceutical sciences, central laboratory, clinical development and commercialization).
Kathleen's previous Quintiles roles included Executive Director, Global Operations and Planning for the Innovex CSO group and Senior Director, Corporate Strategic Development. Both of these senior roles involved creation and implementation of corporate strategy either for the holding company or its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Quintiles, Kathleen was Pharmaceutical Practice Manager for The Wilkerson Group, a leading pharmaceutical consultancy firm.

Richard Evans
Richard has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining AVOS, Richard spent seven years as a Senior Research Analyst for Sanford C. Bernstein and Co., Inc. where he covered large cap drug stocks and United States healthcare strategy. In 2006, Richard ranked first in Institutional Investors’ All-America Research Poll when he finished his coverage. He was also named one of Wall Street’s Champion Stock Pickers by Bloomberg Markets in November 2006. In addition to these prestigious awards, Richard has been recognized or has received awards from Barron’s and thestreet.com as well.
Prior to joining Bernstein, Richard spent seven years with Roche U.S. where he was Vice President of Business Policy and Account Management and served as one of seven members of Roche’s U.S. Business Operating Group. His other capacities at Roche included Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning, as Product Director for VERSED, and Market Research Analyst in support of Business Development. Richard earned a Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale University in 1991 and earned a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.

Abe Medawar
Abe has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining AVOS, Abe spent four years as the Executive Director in the Managed Markets group at Novartis. In this position he had responsibility for leading the development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs for Managed Care Plans/Insurers, PBMs, employers, retail, and physician groups. Preceding his time at Novartis, Abe held positions in global brand marketing and strategic planning at Merck. He had responsibility for brand strategy, positioning and tactical development in the antibiotic/antiviral area and led a number of strategic initiatives in licensing, portfolio development, scenario planning, and strategy development and organizational design while at Merck.
Abe began his career as a management consultant with The Wilkerson Group and ISOGROUP Consultants. He managed and worked on projects for a wide variety of clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device fields. He worked in the areas of strategic planning, market development, portfolio optimization, R&D effectiveness, market simulations, disease management, and strategic alliances and acquisitions. Abe holds a Master’s Degree from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, an MBA from McGill University, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Concordia University.

Mike Goodman
Mike has nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining AVOS, Mike spent four years as the general manager of life science reports at Cambridge Healthtech Institute. This role entailed directing a line of market intelligence reports and overseeing complex projects involving a staff composed of analysts, product managers, marketing, sales staff and other external members. Before joining Cambridge Healthtech Institute, Mike served as director of market research publications and advisory services with Decisions Resources, Inc. His responsibilities in this position included directing a premium line of pharmaceutical business intelligence reports and syndicated advisory services.
Mike's additional experience includes time spent at Arthur D. Little as both a manager of the Spectrum Food Industry Program and as managing editor where he gained his initial experience working with the healthcare and publishing industries. Mike has also engaged in consulting arrangements for numerous clients on an individual basis in the past. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
